Quakers Open NCAC Tournament

GRANVILLE, Ohio — The Earlham College women’s tennis squad opened the two-day North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament at Denison University on Saturday as the Quakers fell to Ohio Wesleyan 5-1.
Juniors Liz Byrd (Richmond, IN/Richmond) and Kate Unver (Ridgewood, NJ/Ridgewood) won 8-2 over Ali Long and Annie Worth at No. 2 doubles for Earlham’s point.
The Quakers (6-5) face Allegheny College in the next round on Sunday at 9 a.m. Scoresheet.— EC —
