Winning Streak Comes to an End

RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College women’s tennis team had its five-match winning streak snapped on Wednesday as the Quakers fell 8-1 to Ohio Wesleyan University on the Earlham Tennis Courts.

Senior Liz Byrd (Richmond, IN/Richmond) posted Earlham’s victory at No. 2 singles with a 6-0, 6-2 decision over Kristen Carney.

Thursday’s match at Mount St. Joseph has been postponed until Wednesday, April 23. Next up for the Quakers (5-1, 0-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference) is at trip to Wittenberg University on Saturday. The NCAC match is at 9 a.m. Scoresheet.
