NCAC Honors Bohall with Weekly Award

RICHMOND, Ind. — Earlham College senior Sara Bohall was honored by the North Coast Athletic Conference on Sunday as the Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Week for women's indoor track.
Bohall (Westport, IN/Columbus East) won two events and anchored a winning relay team for Earlham on Saturday at the Anderson Invitational. She won the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.58 seconds to break her own school record of 8.74 established in 2005. She also won the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.12.
First-year Alison McEmber (Newtown, CT/Newtown), sophomore Eirinn Cooper (Franklin, IN/International), first-year Rachel Dana (Columbus, IN/North) and Bohall won the 1,600-meter relay with a time of 4:21.55.
The Quakers participate in the DePauw University Classic next Saturday, Feb. 16. The meet starts at 11 a.m.
