Quakers Compete in DePauw Classic

GREENCASTLE, Ind. — Senior Sara Bohall surpassed another one of her Earlham College women's indoor track records as the Quakers competed in the DePauw University Classic on Saturday.
Bohall (Westport, IN/Columbus East) set a new mark in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:00.70 breaking her old standard of 1:01.54 set in 2006. Bohall was also fifth in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.73 seconds. She set a new mark in that event last week.
Senior Megan Carter (Lewis, IN/Terre Haute So. Vigo), first-year Alison McEmber (Newtown, CT/Newtown), senior Brittany Smith (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL/Paideia) and senior Rebecca Tolmach (Atlanta, GA/Henry W. Grady) formed the Distance Medley team that finished seventh with a time of 14:40.71.
Austin Peay State University won the event with the Quakers finishing in a tie for 14th with IUPUI and Cumberlands in the 25-team meet.
Earlham participates in the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Championships on Friday, Feb. 29 and Saturday, March 1 at Denison University.— EC —
