Quakers Compete in DePauw Classic

GREENCASTLE, Ind. Senior Sara Bohall surpassed another one of her Earlham College women's indoor track records as the Quakers competed in the DePauw University Classic on Saturday.
 
Bohall (Westport, IN/Columbus East) set a new mark in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:00.70 breaking her old standard of 1:01.54 set in 2006. Bohall was also fifth in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.73 seconds. She set a new mark in that event last week.

Senior Megan Carter (Lewis, IN/Terre Haute So. Vigo), first-year Alison McEmber (Newtown, CT/Newtown), senior Brittany Smith (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL/Paideia) and senior Rebecca Tolmach (Atlanta, GA/Henry W. Grady) formed the Distance Medley team that finished seventh with a time of 14:40.71.

Austin Peay State University won the event with the Quakers finishing in a tie for 14th with IUPUI and Cumberlands in the 25-team meet.

Earlham participates in the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Championships on Friday, Feb. 29 and Saturday, March 1 at Denison University.
