RICHMOND, Ind. — Earlham College senior Sara Bohall was honored by the North Coast Athletic Conference on Monday as the Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Week for women’s track after her performance at the Hanover Invitational on March 29.
Bohall (Westport, IN/Columbus East) won two events and established three records at Hanover as she earned the weekly award for the second time this year. She picked up the honor in February during the indoor season.
She won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:03.87, which is an Earlham record. Her time was also a meet record and a NCAA Div. III provisional qualifying time for the national championship meet. She also set meet record while winning the 100-meter hurdles in 15.49 seconds. The 1,600-meter relay team, anchored by Bohall, was second with a time of 4:21.38.
The next meet for the Quakers is the Anderson Invitational on Saturday, April 5. The event gets underway at 11 a.m.— EC —
