Bohall Wins at Indiana Intercollegiate Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Earlham College senior Sara Bohall won one event and took fourth in another on Saturday to lead the women’s track team in the Indiana Intercollegiate Championships at IUPUI.

Bohall (Westport, IN/Columbus East) rallied to win the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:04.33. “Sara played it smart and ran a great race,” Earlham Head Coach Nick Johnson said. “It was a real good comeback in trying conditions.”

Indiana Wesleyan’s Katelin Morgan finished second to Bohall with a time of 1:06.06.

Earlier in the day, Bohall was fourth in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.37 seconds.

Earlham was 13th of 22 teams, while the University of Indianapolis claimed the overall championship.

The Earlham Invitational is next Saturday at Darrell Beane Stadium. The annual meet gets underway at 11 a.m.
