More about Track and Field
In
a move to affiliate itself with other colleges with like academic
philosophies, Earlham joined the North Coast Athletic Conference
(NCAC) in the summer of 1989. Individuals from several conference
teams annually compete at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships.
While
participants in the Quaker women's track program take their athletic
commitment seriously, they are counseled to give academics top
priority. A three-time all-NCAC recipient in track, Tiffany Harris
'94 compiled a 3.63 grade-point average as a history major. She
received a Watson Fellowship for independent study in Senegal
and France for 1994-95 and was a national finalist for an NCAA
Post-Graduate Scholarship.
Belonging
to the NCAA Division III, Earlham offers academic scholarships
to qualifying students as well as need-based financial aid.
