Quakers play first NCAC road match of the season

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — The Earlham College women’s volleyball squad dropped a North Coast Athletic Conference match at Wittenberg University 30-15, 30-18, 30-15 on Wednesday night.

Senior Loni Clark (Greens Fork, IN/Hagerstown) and sophomore Jessica Whitaker (Indianapolis, IN/Scecina) led the Quakers with six kills each. Junior Ashley Govro (Greensburg, IN/North Decatur) had 11 assists, while sophomore Kaitlin Gentry (Kent, OH/Roosevelt) added 10 assists. First-year Kathryn Evans (Milton, IN/Muncie Burris) led the Quakers with 15 digs and sophomore Kari Schneider (Cincinnati, OH/Mount Notre Dame) had 14 digs.

The Quakers (3-14, 0-2) entertain Oberlin College Saturday on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center. The NCAC contest begins at noon. The North Coast Athletic Conference match begins at noon. Box score
