Quakers Open Conference Schedule at Denison

GRANVILLE, Ohio — The Earlham College volleyball squad opened play in the North Coast Athletic Conference on Tuesday with a 30-26, 30-27, 30-26 loss at Denison University.

Junior Lisa Vanderkolk (Bluffton, IN/Bluffton) led the Quakers with 20 kills, while junior Jessica Whitaker (Indianapolis, IN/Scecina) added 15 kills and 19 digs.

Senior Ashley Govro (Greensburg, IN/North Decatur) had 21 assists and junior Amanda Prewitt (Greenwood, IN/Greenwood) added 20 assists. Katie Evans (Milton, IN/Muncie Burris) had 24 digs.

The Quakers (7-2, 0-1) entertain Kenyon College on Friday. The NCAC contest is at 7 p.m. Box Score.
