Quakers Face Conference Foe Ohio Wesleyan

RICHMOND, Ind. — A slow start hurt the Earlham College women’s volleyball team on Saturday as the Quakers fell to Ohio Wesleyan University 30-17, 30-21, 24-30, 30-26.
Junior Lisa Vanderkolk (Bluffton, IN/Bluffton) led the Quakers with 15 kills and 26 digs in the North Coast Athletic Conference match. First-year Keeley McAnnis-Entenman (Portland, OR/Grant) added 12 kills, while junior Jessica Whitaker (Indianapolis, IN/Scecina) had 11 kills and 20 digs. Senior Ashley Govro (Greensburg, IN/North Decatur) had 33 assists and Katie Evans (Milton, IN/Muncie Burris) had 23 digs.
Earlham (8-3, 1-2) returns to action Friday at Wooster. The NCAC match starts at 7 p.m.
