Quakers Finish EC Fall Classic

RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College volleyball team dropped its final two matches of the EC Fall Classic on Saturday.

Oakland City University defeated Earlham 30-23, 30-32, 30-20, 30-15 on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center, before the Quakers fell 30-21, 30-9, 30-26 to the University of Mobile.

Junior Lisa Vanderkolk (Bluffton, IN/Bluffton) led the Quakers with 12 kills against Oakland City (13-9), while first-year Keeley McAnnis-Entenman (Portland, OR/Grant) had 11 with junior Jessica Whitaker (Indianapolis, IN/Scecina) adding 10.

Senior Ashley Govro (Greensburg, IN/North Decatur) led Earlham with 21 assists as junior Amanda Prewitt (Greenwood, IN/Greenwood) contributed 17.

Sophomore Kathryn Evans (Milton, IN/Muncie Burris) had 24 digs, while Vanderkolk finished with 22. Junior Sara Prince (Dresden, OH/Tri-Valley) had three blocks. McAnnis-Entenman added three service aces.

Against tournament champ Mobile (20-1), Vanderkolk and Whitaker had seven kills each, while Govro and Prewitt had 12 assists apiece. Whitaker also had 15 digs.
