Quakers Split Matches in EC Quaker Classic

RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College volleyball split a pair of matches on Saturday on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center as EC Quaker Classic came to the close.
Earlham opened the day with a 30-27, 30-27, 30-23 victory over Olivet College. The Quaker later dropped a 30-18, 30-23, 23-30, 30-21 decision to Alma College.
Taylor University-Ft. Wayne won the overall title, while Earlham senior Jessica Whitaker (Indianapolis, IN/Scecina) was named to the all-tournament team. Whitaker led the Quakers with 28 kills on Saturday.
Earlham (1-3) participates in the Rose-Hulman Tournament next Friday and Saturday.
