Quakers Open NCAC Schedule at Wooster

WOOSTER, Ohio — The Earlham College volleyball team began play in the North Coast Athletic Conference on Friday with an 18-30, 30-28, 30-24, 30-25 loss at the College of Wooster.
Senior Lisa Vanderkolk (Bluffton, IN/Bluffton) led the Quakers with 17 kills, while fellow senior Jessica Whitaker (Indianapolis, IN/Scecina) added 16 kills and 16 digs.
Sophomore Keeley McAnnis-Entenman (Portland, OR/Grant) had 11 kills, while leading Earlham with four blocks. Senior Kaitlin Gentry (Kent, OH/Roosevelt) led the squad with 31 digs.
Senior Amanda Prewitt (Greenwood, IN/Greenwood) topped the team with 40 assists and three aces, while contributing 18 digs.
Earlham (6-7, 0-1) is at Oberlin College on Sunday for two matches. The NCAC contest with the Yeowomen is at 2 p.m. The Quakers finish the day against Central State University at 3:30 p.m. Box score.
