Quakers Win NCAC Contest at Oberlin

OBERLIN, Ohio — The Earlham College volleyball team evened its overall and North Coast Athletic Conference records on Sunday as the Quakers defeated Oberlin College 30-18, 30-25, 26-30, 30-25.
Senior Jessica Whitaker (Indianapolis, IN/Scecina) led Earlham with 17 kills. Senior Lisa Vanderkolk (Bluffton, IN/Bluffton) added 16 kills, while leading the Quakers with 19 digs. Senior Kaitlin Gentry (Kent, OH/Roosevelt) also had 19 digs.
Senior Amanda Prewitt (Greenwood, IN/Greenwood) led the squad with 45 assists. Sophomore Keeley McAnnis-Entenman (Portland, OR/Grant) had 12 kills and four aces to go along with four blocks. Senior Kari Schneider (Cincinnati, OH/Mt. Notre Dame) had 16 digs.
Sunday’s match against Central State University was canceled.
Earlham (7-7, 1-1) plays at Denison University on Wednesday. The NCAC contest starts at 7 p.m. Box score.
