RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College volleyball team picked up its second North Coast Athletic Conference victory of the season Saturday as the Quakers defeated Allegheny College 30-27, 25-30, 30-22, 22-30, 15-6 on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.
Senior Amanda Prewitt (Greenwood, IN/Greenwood) set an Earlham record with 61 assists. Prewitt broke her own mark of 59 that she established earlier this fall against Otterbein College.
The Quakers had four players reach double digits in kills with senior Lisa Vanderkolk (Bluffton, IN/Bluffton) leading the way with 19. Sophomore Keeley McAnnis-Entenman (Portland, OR/Grant) had 18 kills and six blocks. “I thought Lisa and Keeley hit the ball really well,” Earlham Head Coach Natalie Alred said.
Senior Jessica Whitaker (Indianapolis, IN/Scecina) added 13 kills, senior Sara Prince (Dresden, OH/Tri-Valley) finished with 10 kills, three assists and three blocks. “Sara put together the most complete match she has played,” Alred said.
