Quakers Fall in NCAC Match at Ohio Wesleyan

DELAWARE, Ohio  — The Earlham College volleyball team battled Ohio Wesleyan University on Friday in a North Coast Athletic Conference match as the Bishops defeated the Quakers 30-28, 17-30, 30-24, 30-23.

Earlham senior Lisa Vanderkolk (Bluffton, IN/Bluffton) led the Quakers with 22 kills and four blocks, while classmate Jessica Whitaker (Indianapolis, IN/Scecina) contributed 11 kills and led the way with 25 digs.

Senior Amanda Prewitt (Greenwood, IN/Greenwood) had 44 assists and 23 digs for the Quakers with senior Kaitlin Gentry (Kent, OH/Roosevelt) finishing with 22 digs.

Sophomore Keeley McAnnis-Entenman (Portland, OR/Grant) added nine kills and four blocks.

The Quakers (8-11, 2-5) visit Urbana University on Monday. The non-conference match is at 7 p.m. Box score.
