Quakers Beat Oberlin for Second Time This Season

RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College volleyball team got back on the winning track Saturday with a 30-22, 30-19, 25-30, 30-23 victory over North Coast Athletic Conference foe Oberlin College on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.
Senior Lisa Vanderkolk (Bluffton, IN/Bluffton) led the Quakers with 14 kills and five blocks, while classmate Jessica Whitaker (Indianapolis, IN/Scecina) added 14 kills, four blocks and 29 digs. First-year Alicia Kees (Morrow, OH/Morrow) finished with 11 kills.
Senior Amanda Prewitt (Greenwood, IN/Greenwood) had 44 assists for the Quakers with with senior Kaitlin Gentry (Kent, OH/Roosevelt) leading the way with 30 digs.
The Quakers (9-13, 3-6) entertain Denison University on Tuesday. The NCAC contest begins at 7 p.m. Box score.
