Quakers Start Weekend Road Trip at Hiram

HIRAM, Ohio — The Earlham College volleyball team fell 30-19, 30-19, 30-23 to nationally ranked Hiram College on Friday night in a North Coast Athletic Conference match.

Senior Lisa Vanderkolk (Bluffton, IN/Bluffton) led the Quakers with 10 kills and four blocks against the No. 22 Terriers (22-3, 10-1), while classmate Jessica Whitaker (Indianapolis, IN/Scecina) added seven kills.

Whitaker led the Quakers with 15 digs with Vanderkolk contributing 13 digs. Senior Amanda Prewitt (Greenwood, IN/Greenwood) led Earlham with 15 assists.

Earlham (10-14, 4-7) is at Allegheny College on Saturday. The NCAC match is at 11 a.m. Box score.
