The Bonner Center for Service and Vocation is located on the first floor of the Landrum Bolling Center, next to the elevator, offices 108-117. Our hours of operation are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. We have a number of resources available to help you on the path to your future, so pay us a visit.

We have an up-to-date notebook of available work-study positions. Further, if there is an office or department for which you think you'd be interested in working, stop in and ask if they are hiring. Earlham Career Network

Quite possibly the greatest resource offered by the BCSV is this list of over 1300 EC alums who are willing to assist other alums and current students in networking about jobs, relocating, internships, etc. To access the mentors in ECN send an email to Career Development identifying search criteria such as job field, city, state, etc and we will follow up as soon as we are able. Internships

One of the great things about an Earlham College education is the instant portability of experiences gained both in and out of the classroom. Internships are a phenomenal way to put all that theory into practice and gain valuable experience that will help you engage the world.

Focus Planning System

FOCUS is a career guidance tool that will assist you in self-assessment and career exploration. Clarify your goals and find out what you want to do using this online system. FOCUS is a free service provided for students and alums of Earlham College. Use keycode: earlham573

Strong Interest Inventory & MBTI

The BCSV also recommends two other online assessments. The Strong Interest Inventory provides insight into a interest and compability with a number of different career paths. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator looks primarily at personality based on Jungian archetypes and can be extremely helpful with self-knowledge and reflection.
