Why have an intern from Earlham?

Earlham students make great interns both because of who they are and because of their experiences at Earlham. 

Earlham’s challenging intellectual environment attracts diverse students with a variety of motivations. Whether academic, political, social, athletic, ethical or career-minded reasons brought them to Earlham, our students tend to share a common goal: they want to impact the world.

To host an Earlham intern or let us know about internships available with your organization, fill out the Internship Opportunity Form. 

If you are offering any internships for current students—but especially an unpaid internship—we encourage you to require that students register their internship with the college.  Even if they register to do the internship for zero credits, the experience will appear on their transcript. They can do so by completing this form from the Earlham Registrar's Office.  

How to start an internship program at your organization

If you are interested in putting an internship program in to place at your workplace, we have resources that can help you with this process. What you need to consider, how to get the most out of internships, what the workplace needs to offer in order to have the greatest success with this opportunity.
