Enrollment Policies

Enrollment Confirmation

Students are expected to sign their registration cards and obtain the signature of their academic adviser before submitting the card to the Registrar's Office by the date indicated on the schedule. The signature indicates the accuracy of the course load and this information is then provided to the Accounting Office.

  • Confirmation precedes the first day of classes for each semester.

  • Before students are permitted to confirm enrollment, bills must be paid by the published deadline or appropriate arrangements must be made with the Accounting Office.

  • Those who pay in advance of Enrollment Confirmation Day may pick up receipts and confirm course enrollment. A fee of $25 is assessed for late registration, with the following exceptions: students enrolled in off-campus programs, readmits, returnees from leave and new students.

  • Enrollment Confirmation clearing through the Accounting Office (including approved payment arrangements) must be completed within 48 hours of the close of Enrollment Confirmation Day or the student is automatically dropped from all class lists and does not receive academic credit for the semester.

  • Students and faculty are notified in writing by the Registrar following the 48-hour grace period unless arrangements for an extension have been approved.
