Admissions and Financing Admission to Earlham College Application Procedures An application for admission may be submitted to Earlham at any time after completion of the junior year in high school. Application forms may be obtained by writing or calling the Admissions Office. Applicants may also use the Common Application (available from high school counselors). Earlham gives equal consideration to both forms. The College also accepts online applications from our Web site at http://www.earlham.edu/admissions/content/applying/online_app_intro.html and Common Application Online at www.commonapp.org. Candidates whose first choice is Earlham may apply under the Early Decision plan. Early Decision applications are due December 1. Decisions are announced by December 15, and candidates have until January 15 to confirm their intention to enroll. Students may also apply under the Early Action plan and hear of the admissions decision early in the year. Applications for Early Action are due January 1, and students are notified by February 1. Students admitted under Early Action do not need to inform the College of their enrollment decision until May 1. Regular Decision applications may be submitted any time before February 15. Applications received after that date are considered and applicants are accepted as long thereafter as openings remain. Regular Decision candidates are notified by March 15. Confirmation of intention to enroll for Regular Decision candidates must be postmarked by May 1. |
