Financing an Earlham Education

Renewal of Financial Aid

Need-based financial aid is awarded one year at a time. Students must reapply each year. Earlham offers financial aid to qualified students for eight semesters, including time spent on off-campus study and credits transferred to Earlham.

U.S. Department of Education Personal Identification Number (PIN)

Aid applicants and their parent(s) are urged to obtain a U.S. Department of Education PIN at www.pin.ed.gov. With a PIN the student and parent can "sign" the online FAFSA electronically. A student can also use his or her PIN to complete student loan entrance and exit counseling requirements, sign student loan promissory notes and track federal financial aid.
