Financing an Earlham Education
When to Apply for Aid
Students seeking admission to Earlham College and who are applying
for financial aid must submit their FAFSA after January 1 and no
later than March 1 prior to the start of the Fall Semester. Current
Earlham College students who are residents of Indiana must also
submit their FAFSA no later than March 1 prior to the start of
the Fall Semester. Current Earlham College students who are not
residents of Indiana should submit their FAFSA no later than June
1 prior to the start of the Fall Semester unless directed by the
Financial Aid Office to submit it by an earlier date. Once all
necessary information and forms are received and processed by the
Earlham College Financial Aid Office, students are notified of
any aid for which they qualify.
Students who complete the FAFSA online must remember to submit the form when complete. Following the proper online submission
of the FAFSA, the student will immediately receive a confirmation
number that should be printed and retained. This serves as an official
receipt that may be needed to verify that the student applied for
aid on this date. Students who choose to complete the paper FAFSA
should obtain a receipt for first class mail when they mail the
FAFSA.
