General
Education Requirements
Depending upon the semester and the instructor, many English Department courses may fulfill the General Education Requirements.
The Department offers five courses that fulfill The Arts Requirement, ENG 301, 307, 321, 381 and 470; five courses that fulfill the Domestic component of the Perspectives on Diversity Requirement, ENG 206, 303, 304, 463 and 468; six courses that fulfill the International component of the Perspectives on Diversity Requirement, ENG 201, 202, 203, 204, 464 and 468; and 11 courses that meet the Comparative Practices Requirement, ENG 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 245, 302, 303, 304 and 305. The Department also offers Earlham Seminars.
