Historical Study of Literature
Students must choose four courses from the following list. At least one must be a literature course before 1800 (ENG 351, 352 or 353) and at least one must be on U.S. Literature:

ENG 381 Shakespeare
Contemporary World
Students must choose two of the following courses:
ENG 463 Topics in African American Literature
ENG 464 Post-Colonial Literature
ENG 466 Contemporary Literature
ENG 468 Emerging Literatures
ENG 469 Literary Criticism
Special Topics
Choose two different Special Topics courses. Some classes outside of the Major may fulfill this requirement. Consult your adviser.
Senior Capstone
Complete both:
ENG 488 Senior Capstone Experience
Comprehensive Exams to be taken in January of the Senior year
