The Minor requires five courses:

  • FILM 215 Introduction to Film Studies

AND

  • Four courses on film from:

    • FILM 237 East Asian Cinema

    • FILM 252 Philosophy and Film Theory

    • FILM 254 The Holocaust and Film

    • FILM 275 Video Production

    • FILM 300 Topics in Film Studies
      (can be taken more than once with different topic)

    • FILM 330 Postcolonial Theory

    • FILM 332 Hispanic Film Series/Studies

    • FILM 341 Japanese Popular Culture

    • FILM 342 Japanese Cinema

    • FILM 349 Politics and Film

    • FILM 350 Topics in French (when a film-related topic)
