All who choose to be a part of the Earlham community make a commitment to conduct their lives responsibly and to treat all community members and themselves with honor and integrity.
Students and faculty share responsibility for preserving academic honesty. In social circumstances, students assume responsibility for regulating their conduct on Earlham's campus and at College-sponsored events in accordance with the principles, practices and policies in this Curriculum Guide, the Student Handbook and the policy section of the Web site.
In both academic and social areas, the College's expectations reflect the community's highest aspirations. Written policies and expectations define the minimum guidelines for behavior at Earlham College. Students are encouraged to confront and engage community members in dialog when social and academic violations are witnessed. Violations of expectations may subject the student to judicial action. In addition to the Earlham Community Principles and Practices, the College expects students to adhere to city, state and federal laws.
