Student Activities

A world of activities, accommodating almost every interest and taste, is available to students at Earlham. These activities range from lectures and convocations by outstanding scholars, artists, and public figures to outdoor music festivals and comedy performances.

Students are encouraged to take an active role in their co-curricular life. More than 60 organizations keep students active and interested. You can choose from clubs and social action groups and clubs with interests ranging from religion, women's issues, and ethnic studies to crafts, media and recreation. A full slate of musical and performing arts organizations will help you perfect your talents, and political and service organizations get students involved with issues and community needs. Through Student Government students have an active role in the administration of the College by participating in College governing committees, such as those for Investment Responsibility, Athletics, Budget and Campus Life. Student Government maintains its own Web pages to keep students informed of current news and issues, answer frequently asked questions, and encourage dialogue.
