Religion

The Program

General Education courses introduce students to the central ideas and methods used in the study of religion. Courses focus on particular faith traditions or on specific methods, and assignments emphasize careful reading and clear writing. Collaborative group projects encourage students to engage in serious and focused discussions about religious texts and ideas. Upper-level General Education courses provide students with opportunities to bring religious ideas into conversation with other disciplines and areas of study.
