Visiting Assistant Professor of Geology — Surface Processes

The Department of Geology at Earlham College invites applications for a three-year, visiting faculty position beginning Fall 2014 in the general area of geomorphology/surface processes.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Course responsibilities include participation in introductory geology and environmental science courses, as well as upper-level courses such as geomorphology, sedimentology, field methods, or other upper-level specialty courses. We expect that the candidate will participate in Earlham’s Environmental Science program and advise undergraduate student research projects.
Experience & Qualifications
A Ph.D. is required and previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred. Women, underrepresented minorities, and Quakers are especially encouraged to apply.
