For Faculty Teaching First-Year Students

Here you will find a list of programs and advising resources especially for our first-year students. They are welcomed to campus with a variety of summer contacts during Countdown and formally at New Student Orientation. First-year advising can take advantage of the Academic Program Guides (which will be updated each semester) and the registration instructions; advisers may find the summary of the advising timeline helpful to understand the process of summer course registration and fall advising. Finally, first-year students are involved in a number of curricular and co-curricular activities including their Earlham Seminar I, targeted curricular programs and residential programming.
