Students who have borrowed through the Direct or Perkins Loan programs, will be required to participate in Exit Counseling Sessions for each type of loan prior to graduation. During this session students will be provided information regarding their total indebtedness as well as the available repayment plans. They also will be informed of the ramifications of defaulting on their student loans. A few months prior to graduation, students are advised to double-check the status of their accounts with the Accounting Office to be certain that all outstanding balances have been paid.
