Wellness (a minimum of 2 semester hours)

• Develops the mind, spirit and body.

• Promotes a holistic, lifelong focus on personal health.

• Develops kinesthetic capabilities.

• Incorporates analysis of and reflection upon wellness.

• Recognizes the importance of building a knowledge framework for analyzing and organizing physical activity (e.g. knowledge of anatomy, physiology, strategy of play, how to evaluate physiological effects).
