Hello! I am Debbie Rickey, Program Director of the M.A.T. program here at Earlham College. After having spent over 20 years as a high school teacher and principal, and loving every minute of it, I am convinced my most important work and contribution to education is helping create teachers through our M.A.T. program. When designing this program Randall and I tried to focus on not only what kind of teachers are needed in schools today but also more importantly, what do today's students need from their teachers. What we have done is create a program framework that helps grow teachers who are ready and able to meet the challenges of today's schools and equipped to help all students succeed. We are excited with the results and would love to help you become the teacher you want to be.
