EMERITI TEACHING FACULTY

EMERITUS STATUS AND POST-RETIREMENT PRIVILEGES

Emeritus faculty status may be granted when a full-time member of the teaching faculty has served Earlham for a minimum of 10 years and leaves Earlham for retirement. The President and the Provost (or the Dean of ESR) determine whether a faculty member is to be granted Emeritus status.

Baccalaureate and Commencement: Emeriti faculty are encouraged to attend and be part of the academic procession at the Baccalaureate and the Commencement ceremonies.

E-mail: Emeriti faculty retain e-mail access and privileges indefinitely.
Faculty Meeting for Business: Emeriti faculty may attend and observe the Faculty Meeting for Business.

Faculty Buffet: Emeriti faculty are encouraged to attend the regular Faculty Buffet.

Faculty Retreat: Emeriti faculty are encouraged to attend and be part of Faculty Retreat.
