Welcome New and Returning Students!

Deb McNish

Welcome (back) to Earlham! You are currently reading our newly revised and improved Student Handbook and Planner. The 2007-08 Handbook has been restructured to be an educational resource for learning how to thrive within the Earlham community. It has been organized around the "Learning Goals in the Cocurriculum," and our hope is that it will help you flourish during your career here at Earlham.

The front section of the handbook contains policies and procedures that should answer many of your questions. Important dates and phone numbers are highlighted for your quick reference and descriptions of offices and services available to you are explained. This handbook is meant to work in tandem with the Curriculum Guide. If there are places where it feels like the handbook is lacking, it is because you should seek further clarification by looking in the Curriculum Guide.

I trust you have had a wonderful summer and are excited to be at Earlham. We are happy to have you on campus, and I look forward to getting to know you better as the year progresses. If you have any questions or comments about the Student Handbook, feel free to contact us in Student Development (x 1311).
