Instructional Technology and Media provides a wide variety of services and support for both the curricular and co-curricular sides of the college. Our goal is to provide a high level of support in materials, technologies and skills for the teaching and learning process. We also provide support for events on campus.

Audio and video collections are listed in the online catalog and are available for checkout and classroom use, and can be placed on reserve. We maintain a variety of equipment which is available for short term loan to supplement equipment available in the academic buildings.

ITAM supports the instructional technology in the academic buildings on campus. The Media Arts Lab in the lower level of Lilly Library has viewing stations to handle a variety of video formats. Also present is a lab containing 8 iMac computers for producing and editing multimedia content with a variety of video, audio and graphic software, in addition to 2 iMacs dedicated to music composition.

ITAM operates Earlham’s learning management system, Moodle, which is managed, maintained, and upgraded by Mark Pearson, who also oversees the WordPress system eSpeak.
