Where is the calendar?
The
Web address is http://www.earlham.edu/calendar.
What's
on the calendar?
Academic dates, student activities, varsity athletics events, fine arts
department events and community events sponsored by Earlham.
What's the default
view?
The
WebCalendar opens to view a Master Calendar (all events), showing the
present and following weeks in the familiar "wall calendar"
grid view. To get more information on an event appearing on this calendar,
simply click on the underlined title of the event. A small new window
opens in a corner of your screen with the complete event description
and contact information. The number following the event identifies on
which specific calendar the event was entered — (1) academics,
(2) student activities, (3) varsity athletics, (4) community events
or (5) master calendar.
How do I change
the view?
You
can move around in the calendar from this default view, or you can change
the view. You can choose to see things differently, including the calendar's
starting date, the contents of a specific calendar, and the time span
of viewable dates.
The
calendar's starting date
Just below the title of the calendar is a black bar. On the left-hand
side of the black bar are pull-down menu options for the month, date
and year. After you make your selection, hit the "GO" button
directly to the right of the year.

of a specific calendar
Just below the title of the calendar is a black bar. On the right-hand
side of the bar is a pull-down menu option for specific calendars —
academics, activities, athletics, events or master calendar. After
you make your selection, hit the "GO" button directly to the
right of the pull-down menu.
When you choose
a specific calendar, the starting date reverts to the current month.
The
time span of viewable dates
Directly below the black bar menu are menu option tabs you can click
on to change the time span of viewable dates. You can choose viewing
a day, a week, two weeks, a month or a year.
