The cost of the program will be the equivalent to one semester of on-campus charges; tuition, fees, room and board. The program covers academic and educational costs including cultural events and group excursions, as well as room and board costs during the academic portion of the program. A deposit of $350 which is part of the total cost of the program is required after acceptance into the program. Students covered by financial aid may carry their aid on one Earlham or GLCA-recognized off-campus study program during their college career.

Additional Costs

Each student will need to plan for additional money to cover the trans-Atlantic travel, passport and visa fees, personal expenses such as books, and costs for the independent travel period.

Eligibility

Students must have completed French 120 or one course at the 200 or 300 level at Earlham by the beginning of the program. Students on academic probation are not eligible to participate. A person's eligibility for this program may also be affected by being placed on social probation. Majors from all disciplines are welcome. Selection is conducted by a student and faculty committee.
