Additional Costs

Each student must budget for additional money to cover round-trip airfare, passport and visa fees, personal expenses, such as books, gifts, and costs during independent travel periods.

Eligibility

The language requirement is one year of college level Japanese or the equivalent. Students are encouraged to continue their language study until departing for Japan. Undergraduate students in good academic standing are eligible to apply. Students on academic probation are not eligible to participate.
