Courses and Academic Information
The South Asia program takes place during the fall semester.

Students accepted to the South Asia Program are requred to participate in orientation sessions during Spring Semester prior to departure. Orientation prepares students for the intercultural experience and will include, reading, lectures, discussions, and other activities. Students will receive information on applying for a passport and a visa and other important matters. Students will receive 1 semester credit.
Students will earn a total of 16 semester hours for the successful completion of the program:
Issues in Peace, Coexistence and Conflict Resolution (4 credits)
Context, Theory, Practice (4 credits)
South Asian Literature (4 credits)
Economics and Politics of South Asia (4 credits)
