Living Arrangements

Students will live with and take all meals with Spanish families in Valencia throughout the program. Living with host families enhances the language acquisition process and reinforces the cultural immersion experience.

Travel

There will be many opportunities to travel to various locations in Spain, both with the group and independently. In past programs, excursions have included trips to Barcelona, Madrid and the Castilian region, and the Andalucian region. Day excursions in and around Valencia have included the Albufera, the largest freshwater lake in Spain; Sagunto with its Roman ruins; and various smaller towns in the region, such as Alicante and Manises.

Transportation

Students are responsible for arranging flights to and from Spain.
