Thematic Studies Abroad

Earlham College is a private, liberal arts college, with a long history of international involvement. Earlham has a diverse student body with students from all 50 states and over 50 different countries. Students and faculty are passionate about learning, placing an emphasis on social justice, human rights and making a difference. Earlham faculty and students are involved in a wide range of issues and activities both on and off-campus. We strive to create a caring and supportive environment where students are challenged to learn both in and out of the classroom.

Because of student and faculty interest in the world, we believe that Earlham is an excellent environment for the TSA program. Faculty welcome Waseda students to the classroom. Earlham students have also welcomed Waseda students into all aspects of student life.

It is our hope that through participating in Earlham's TSA program, students will leave after their year of study with a greater understanding of U.S. culture, themselves, and the world.
