T. Weston (Wes) Miller (EC '72) has been the
Director of ITAM since 1982. After completing a degree in Elementary
Education from Earlham, Wes taught elementary school while
pursuing a Master's degree in Instructional Systems Technology
from Indiana University. He worked as a Media Specialist in
Wisconsin and Minnesota prior to returning to Earlham. In addition
to managing ITAM, Wes also teaches courses in Educational Media
and Video Production. Wes is also the Immediate Past-President
of the Association
for Educational Communications and Technology.

Pearson, Instructional Technologist, cyclist and self styled
'man about 50' has been a member of ITAM for well over two
years. He obtained his first degree, a BSc in Zoology, at
Swansea University in wet welsh Wales in the dark ages of
mainframe computing. Moving east and south to sunny Sussex
he completed his research into the population dynamics and
biological control of cereal aphids at an agricultural research
station (GCRI, Littlehampton) and gained his PhD from Imperial
College, London in the dawn of the minicomputer era (1981).
Personal computers were becoming popular when he finished
his Masters in Computer Science at Brunel in 1987 and moving
to the States in 1989 he joined the Computing Services at
Earlham. He started teaching Information Technology and Society
for the management program three years ago and currently
is supporting the Moodle course management system as well
as other teaching with technology efforts on campus.

Barbara Miller, ITAM Services Coordinator has
been a part of ITAM since 1986. Barbara manages the ITAM
office: scheduling services, researching,
and ordering materials, as well as supervising
the ITAM sudent workers.

Robert (Bob) Warner (EC '53), Technical Associate,
joined Earlham in 1959 to teach machine shop and work with the
self-instruction project building teaching machines. When the
program was phased out in the 1960's, Bob turned his talents
toward the development of a "state of the art" language lab
(below) in the new Lilly Library. He has continued to work with
a wide variety of media and office equipment, keeping it in
good repair.

John Todd joined ITAM in 2004 as a part-time
member of the staff. A recorded Quaker minister with a small
Friends church in Xenia,
Ohio,
John helps
maintain ITAM's circulating collection of audio and video materials.
