Media Viewing Area
Located in the basement
of Lilly Library in the Instructional Technology and Media
department.
What do we have in the lab?
The circulation lab consists of 8 carrels with
various media equipment in each carrel.
Three carrels are equiped
with VCRs including 1 multi-standard VCRs which will play
tapes from other regions and a VCR to play SVHS tapes. (Earlham
events, such as Convocations, are recorded on this type
of
tape.)
There are 4 DVD viewing stations including a
code free machines for viewing international DVDs.
We have 1 CD playing stations as well as an
iMac that also function as a CD player and 1 turntables for
playing vinyl audio recordings.
The Language Lab
There is a 10 carrel language lab available
for use. This language lab can be used to listen to audio cassettes
for a language class. They can also be used by classes for
tests
and quizzes.
