Circulation Lab
This lab
provides patrons with a place to view visual material,
as well as listen to audio material
that is available from ITAM. It is located in the basement
of Lilly Library in the Instructional Technology and Media
department.
What do we have in the lab?
The circulation lab consists of 14 carrels with
various media equipment in each carrel.
Three carrels are equiped
with VCRs including 2 multi-standard VCRs which will play
tapes from other regions and a VCR to play SVHS tapes. (Earlham
events, such as Convocations, are recorded on this type
of
tape.)
There are 3 DVD viewing stations including a
code free machines for viewing international DVDs.
We have 2 CD playing stations as well as an
iMac that also function as a CD player and 2 turntables for
playing vinyl audio recordings.
The Language Lab
There is a 12 carrel language lab available
for use. This language lab can be used to listen to audio cassettes
for a language class. They can also be used by classes for
tests
and quizzes.
