In February 2012, Japan Study and the Bonner Center for Service and Vocation held a two-part workshop: Marketing Your Japan Off-Campus Experience. Part one was a 90-minute session focusing on interview skills specifically for those seniors who had interviews with the JET Program. Part two was a three-hour workshop focusing on transferable skills, resumes and cover letters. The primary goal of this workshop series was to teach students who had studied abroad on the SICE or Japan Study programs how to effectively communicate their experiences abroad and their skills to potential employers via their resume, cover letter, or interview.
