Hours

The museum is open:

• Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and now SATURDAYS!! (Year Round) 1-5 pm
• Holiday closures: we are open most holidays, with the exception of New Year's Day, the Saturday of Earlham's commencement, July 4th, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
• Planetarium shows are given by walk-in request.
• Group ours are scheduled in advance.

Public story time at the Museum!

We have two story times to choose from here at the museum: Pre-school story time programs are held on the first Tuesday of each month (September-May) at 10 am in the museum lobby. Bedtime story programs will run on the last Thursday of each month at 7 pm. Pajamas encouraged and stuffed animals are welcome!

Admission is always free, donations are welcome.

Location

The Joseph Moore Museum is adjacent to Dennis Hall on the Earlham College Campus. Parking is available behind Dennis Hall and in front of the nearby Admissions Building. Click here for a campus map, and here for driving directions to campus. There are yard signs posted on campus to help guide you to the museum, also. You can also use our GPS coordinates: N 39° 49' 26.46'', W84° 54' 42.53''.

Look for our new signs to guide you into our parking lot from either the main campus entrance or the D Street entrance. They're also posted along Dennis Hall to guide you around the building to the main entrance to the museum. Or, you can follow the footprints left on the sidewalk by a mastodon also bound for the museum.
