Isabel Albertson Autograph Book. SC 60.

Isabel Albertson (1816-1856) was an Orthodox Friend of Blue River Monthly Meeting, Washington County, Ind., the daughter of Dr. Benjamin and Sarah (Parker) Albertson. In 1834 she married William N. Trueblood (1809-1901). This autograph book contains sentiments from other Blue River Friends.

Thomas Alexander Papers. SC 61.

This collection consists of three leaves of the records of the family of Thomas Alexander, born in 1781 in Yorkshire, England.

Warder Clyde Allee Papers. 1928-1950. FMS 61.

Warder Clyde Allee (1885-1955) was a 1908 Earlham College graduate, a prominent American Quaker, and a long-time zoology professor at the University of Chicago. The bulk of the Allee Papers are at the University of Chicago. This collection consists of photocopies of correspondence relating to Earlham and to Quakerism as well as copies of his articles. John Allen Diary. 1879-1881. SC 19.

John Allen (1809-1891) was a Friends minister of Deer Creek Meeting in Grant County, Ind. The diary is mainly concerned with his travels in the ministry in Indiana. There are a few miscellaneous notes, 1881-1887. Typescript included. Gift of Anita Mott Weddle and Wild Mott DeCou, 1975.

American Friend Collection. SC 86.

The American Friend was a journal published in Richmond, Ind. from January 1867 to December 1868 by a group of prominent young Gurneyite Quakers. This collection includes minutes of the board of editors, 1866-1868, the cashbook listing agents and subscribers, and some miscellaneous manuscripts.

American Friends Board of Missions Papers. 1894-1978. FRG 38.

The American Friends Board of Missions was formed in 1894 to coordinate the foreign and home missionary activities of American Gurneyite Friends. In 1902, it became part of the Five Years Meeting of Friends. This large collection includes correspondence, publications, reports, and other materials from Quaker missionaries in the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, East Africa, and Central America.

Associated (Executive) Committee of Friends on Indian Affairs Archives. 1871-. FRG 1.

The Associated Executive Committee of Friends on Indian Affairs (now the Associated Committee of Friends on Indian Affairs) was formed by Gurneyite yearly meetings of Friends in North America in 1869 to undertake missionary and educational work among Native Americans. It stills sponsors Quaker activities among American Indians. These materials are based on the papers of Ruthanna Simms, who was ACFIA's long-time secretary, with subsequent additions by the organization. Earlier materials are at Haverford College.
