Genetic Disease Project

You and your group members will investigate the molecular/cellular basis of a genetic disease and present this to the class during a poster session in early April. .

Begin by reading about three of the diseases below. Follow each link to the NCBI Genes & Disease website.

Note each disease's symptions, its frequency of occurrence, its patttern of inheritance, and the prospects for treatment or cure. Also look in the Links box on the left and consult the sites listed under the heading Websites.
